Privacy Policy

Uppatch helps you find local service providers quickly and easily via WhatsApp. When you initiate a request (for example, by saying "hi"), the chatbot asks a few simple questions to understand the service you need. Your messages are used only to parse your request and perform the matching process.

Location and matching

After you choose a service, we may ask you (via WhatsApp) to share your location. If you share location, we use the latitude and longitude to query our provider database and find nearby providers. We only share the minimum information required with providers (for example, contact details and an approximate location necessary to fulfil the request).

Data retention

We do not store chat messages long-term. Messages are processed transiently for matching and then discarded. We may keep limited anonymized logs and technical metadata (timestamps, anonymized match results) for troubleshooting and service improvement for a limited retention period (e.g., 30 days).

What we share

• Provider-facing info: the details needed to contact you and fulfil the request.
• We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties.

Provider verification

Providers listed on Uppatch are verified through our onboarding checks, but verification does not guarantee the outcome of any job. You are responsible for confirming credentials, quotes, and terms directly with the provider.

Your choices

You control what you share. If you decline to share location, we can still suggest providers based on the area you provide manually, but matching accuracy may be reduced.
